Placement Process
MBF Agency prides itself on having the best candidates in the industry. We would love for you to become a part of our team. We take great measure to find professional candidates with a service heart, great experience, and excellent references. Once you complete your process below, you will be one of the elite household professionals sent to interview with our fantastic MBF Agency client families. Please let us know if we can help you through the process in any way.
- On-line application
- Interview (may be in-person or on the phone) with your Staffing Specialist or Placement Manager
- We will complete a post-interview screening:
• Highest level of education verification (Please provide us with copies of your transcripts or your diploma.)
• Identity verification process (You will be getting a short call from our office following your interview to answer a couple of background verification questions generated by CSIdentity, our background check company.)
• References checked / former employment verification (If you can either provide us with their email address and/or notify them ahead of time that we will be trying to reach them, that can really save time!)
• CPR and First Aid Training (Nannies only)
• Motor vehicle records check (We will perform this through CSIdentity.)
• Criminal background check (Initial and ongoing checks performed through CSIdentity.)
• Professional Development Class (Texas Nannies and Housekeepers only)
• Available per client's request: psychological evaluations, drug/health screening, and handwriting analysis
- If you pre-contact your references, complete the professional development (if applicable) and CPR training (if applicable), and provide all required paperwork, the entire screening process can be completed in as little as 48 hours.
- Once the screening process is completed, your profile will be sent to our client families (whose positions you are interested in) for their consideration. Families will let MBF Agency who they would like to interview after they view the profiles. We will contact you to let you know when this occurs so that you may coordinate with the family directly regarding scheduling.
- Whenever possible, our client families prefer to have trial time with their top candidate choices in order to be sure that you are both completely certain of the match.
- Clients will extend a job offer, and will complete an Employment Agreement prior to you starting the position. This employment agreement will be signed by yourself and your employer, ensuring that you are both clear on the duties, the compensation, vacation, sick time, and many more details.
If you would like to apply with our agency, please begin by completing a candidate application, and then a Staffing Specialist or Placement Manager will contact you.
