Serving the Community

(How do you give back?)

Childrens Charity
Because MBF is in the business of serving families, we strive to be a continually positive force for children and parents throughout all the communities in which we’re represented. For us, this mission doesn’t end with our clients.

That’s why MBF has various charity programs in each of its cities, doing important work for the children and families in our communities who need it most. Each office has developed relationships with partner charities handpicked by MBF staff in each of our local offices. It’s our way of showing gratitude to the local communities and clients that have made all of our achievements possible. Whether we’re delivering top-notch support to busy working households or financial assistance to those in need, we here at MBF are committed to sharing our success by serving our communities.

Local MBF offices are able to contribute both financially and on a deeper level, including staff time spent volunteering, attending charity events, donating services for fundraisers, and contributing to holiday needs.

Below are the details about our Partner charities. Please let us know if you have any interest in serving these charities alongside Mom's Best Friend.

Heroes for Children is a nonprofit organization providing financial and social assistance to families, within the state of Texas, with children (0-22 yrs of age) battling cancer.

Since it's inception in 2005, Heroes for Children has spent more than $750,000 on program services (as of the end of 2007). No request has ever been denied!

Currently, an estimated 12,400 children, ages 0-20 years, are diagnosed with a form of cancer in the United States . With diagnosis comes the challenge to provide financially for the family. In order to provide constant care for their child, parents frequently lose or quit their jobs. The money Heroes for Children donates directly to families helps relieve some of the strain and stress during this difficult time in their lives. .

Children's Miracle Network hospitals impact the lives of more children than any other children's organization in the world. Children's hospitals provide state-of-the-art care, life-saving research and preventative education for children 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. There is a Children's Miracle Network hospital dedicated to serving children in every community across the United States and Canada. These hospitals are committed to providing the best care for children when they need it.
