What is the process for finding a position?

The placement process ensures that you will find a fantastic position in a timely manner. MBF has outlined the simple steps to begin your search in the Process section of the website.

Will MBF Agency train me?

MBF Agency does not place any providers without the required amount of experience, but to supplement, we provide professional development courses for nannies and housekeepers. These sessions provide information and recommendations regarding professionalism, interviewing, communication, ideas for structure, negotiating, employment agreements, and expectations.

What sorts of background checks will MBF Agency conduct?

Because security is a top priority for our clients, MBF candidates must pass our agency’s rigorous screening requirements including criminal background checks, a driving records check and reference checks. Please see the process section for complete details.

How will I know when jobs are available?

An MBF Agency Placement Manager will be in contact with you for assignments that match your personal qualifications and job search criteria. You may also look at our online job board to find positions for which you want to interview. If you have any interest in a particular position, you may also contact the MBF Agency placement team directly.

Backyard with pool and lovely home What happens when a client receives my profile?

If an employer decides that they would like to interview you based on your profile, they will contact their Placement Manager to set up an interview. You may then decide whether or not you are interested in interviewing for the position.

What is a “trial day”?

Some candidates may be called back for “trial days” (when possible) after their initial interview with a client. These days provide the client an opportunity to see you performing many of the duties you would perform if you are hired for the position. This is also a great opportunity for you to explore the position and decide whether it is an appropriate fit for you.

What happens after I am offered a job?

After you are hired for and accept a position, your employer will complete an Employment Agreement. This detailed document, provided by MBF Agency, will provide you and your employer with all of the essential issues/items/criteria on which you must agree before you start your position, including pay rate, benefits, work commitment, hours, etc.

Can I leave MBF Agency at any time?

If you have completed your term of commitment with your employer, you are free to leave your position, but we find that most of our candidates return to MBF Agency for future placements.
