What fees does MBF Agency charge?
MBF Agency charges a $250 membership fee to begin the search process. Upon locating the perfect candidate for your needs, a referral fee equivalent to 20% of the candidate's annual salary will be charged.

What kind of support does MBF Agency offer me after my position has been filled?
At MBF Agency, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional post-placement support. We begin by providing you with a comprehensive Employee Agreement at the time you hire a candidate, which helps prevent the most common employment conflicts. In addition, we provide forms for reviews and one-on-one meetings, contact with Breedlove & Associates for all employment-related tax questions and ongoing professional development opportunities for your household professional. We will check in on a quarterly basis, and we are also available on an ongoing basis for guidance and expert advice. Our goal is not just to place you with the perfect household professional, but also to help you sustain a productive and lasting relationship with your employee.
What happens if my employee does not work out?
Our extensive screening, along with trial time, our employment agreement, reviews, and one-on-one meetings that we encourage between yourself and your employee will eliminate the majority of common issues. However, should your candidate not work out for an unforeseen reason, we offer a replacement guarantee of 120 days, provided that clients have met the requirements outlined in our Client Agreement.

Is the professional I hire considered my employee or is she an employee of MBF Agency?
When you hire a household professional, they are considered your employee, not an employee of MBF Agency. This means you are responsible for handling your employee’s taxes and for assuming any other legal responsibilities for an employer. Since failure to adhere to these responsibilities can incur fines and legal penalties for you, we support you along the way with expert employment advice, from us and the best experts in the field.
