I am a professor at Rice University, and I’ve been fortunate to get help from MBF through Rice’s agreement with Work Options Group.  I have a 19 month old toddler who just started daycare last August, and we often need backup help when Alexander catches a cold or fever, or when our daycare is closed for holidays.

I have been very happy with all of the caregivers that MBF has provided.  I wanted to let you know that I was particularly pleased with Cecilia, who looked after Alexander while my husband and I were at the office this week.  She was prompt and cheerful, and she carefully followed a long list of instructions and requests that I left for her (I’m a bit neurotic about that!)  Alexander had a runny nose, low-grade fever, and cough during the week, and Cecilia took special care to keep him comfortable.  She even helped us get rid of a rash on his face that developed after we let too much moisture build up under his pacifier.  What pleased me the most is that not only was Alexander cheerful when we came home, but he remained cheerful the rest of the evening.  Often when we leave Alexander with a caregiver, he is quite fussy for the rest of the day.  Cecilia even taught Alexander some new games and new words.  What more could a worried working mother want?  Cecilia is wonderfully gifted with children.  Thank you for sending her to us.
