Mom’s Best Friend Launches Luxury Senior Care Line of Service

Austin Nanny and Sitter Service the First to Provide In-Home Care for Multiple Generations

Austin, Texas-Mom’s Best Friend (MBF) introduces senior care services for the Austin market. After almost 16 years placing nannies, sitters and household staff, Mom’s Best Friend is now licensed to offer the same luxury care to local seniors. This makes them the only agency in Austin to offer caregivers (non-medical) for all ages.

Mom’s Best Friend is licensed by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services to provide both short and long-term personal assistance services (PAS) to seniors. This includes:

  • Dressing and undressing
  • Bathing and restroom assistance
  • Mobility (transferring from bed to chair, etc.) and/or exercising
  • Light housework and pet care

  • Meal preparation, feeding and cleanup
  • Safety procedures and emergency responses
  • Assistance with medication (reminders)

In-home elder care is a premium-priced service offered by a number of companies.
