Mom's Best Friend has the highest quality, sweetest Vail and Beaver Creek area babysitters ready to serve your needs. If you are simply visiting the Vail / Beaver Creek area, please contact us directly at 970.476.KIDS (5437) or after-hours at 970.376.7765. For regular usage, please follow the simple steps below so that we may dispatch fun, responsible, and screened caregivers to your home.
- Completing Agency Application
Please complete the Client Application located on our web site. After receiving your online application, we will call to confirm receipt of your information and go over your applications and any questions you have.
If you will becoming a member, a $125 ($100 if renewing) membership fee ($25 of every membership fee goes to local charities) is due and entitles you discounted agency fees. Lastly, we will need a signed copy of the client agreement. We would be happy to go over any questions and/or concerns regarding the agreement in our conversation.

- Compensation Procedures
The provider should be compensated in full, by check or preferably cash, according to the current rates, before leaving the job assignment. Failure to pay the candidate may result in termination of membership to MBF. Our agency fees will be billed directly to the credit card of your choice, upon receipt of the candidate's timecard for the job. Please be sure that the hours listed on the timecard are accurate.
- Placing a Job Order
Once you have completed the application, paid the fee, and submitted your signed client agreement, we offer 3 ways to book your services. There are three different ways to book a job: call or email our staff or complete the online Book a Sitter Form (do not use this method if the job is within two business days). Providing the agency with the most notice provides the best chance for consistency, and the best opportunity to fill your request.
- Feedback
We rely upon your feedback in order to place the best canididates with your family and to continue to provide a consistent and quality service to you. Please take time to complete the agency and candidate evaluations left for you by your candidate at the close of the job assignment. If you were not provided with these forms, you may complete the online Feedback Form.
- After-hours Pager and Contact Information
Office hours are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Fridays. Click here for staff phone numbers and emails.
If you have a last-minute need (to take place within the next 24 hours) and it is after office hours, you may place a job order by calling our emergency pager at 970.376.7765 after 6:00 am or before 9:00 pm weekdays and between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm Saturdays and Sundays. However, you will be billed a $30 last-minute fee in addition to our standard rates and fees if a caregiver is located for you.
