These part-time roles avoid the expense of hiring someone full-time, making it a practical and more budget-friendly option.<\/p>\n<p>Part-time Household Assistant roles are designed for maintenance and personal assistance, so families already have their deep cleaning needs met (often with a weekly \/ bi-weekly service).<\/p>\n<p>What tasks are typically included in a Household Assistant position?<\/p>\n<p>These may include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Keeping common areas tidy and picked up (e.g., wiping down counters, loading\/unloading dishwasher, take out trash)<\/li>\n<li>Vacuuming, sweeping, and swiffering floors in high-traffic areas<\/li>\n<li>Doing laundry (not ironing)<\/li>\n<li>Organizing projects (bathroom vanity, closet, pantry, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Maintain inventory of supplies and grocery lists<\/li>\n<li>Errands (grocery shopping, returns, etc.); can also order\/receive supplies and groceries, put away, break down boxes<\/li>\n<li>Meal prep (wash\/chop fruit\/vegetables, measure, etc.) &#8211; typically not full preparation of meals, although some candidates are willing to cook with meal kits (such as Hello Fresh, Blue Apron, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Schedule contractors and vendors as needed for maintenance, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Manage calendar (schedule appointments, add any extra-curricular schedules, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Pet care, including daily walks, scheduling and driving to\/from grooming appointments, boarding appointments, and vet appointments<\/li>\n<li>Seasonal projects (shopping, gift wrapping, decorating)<\/li>\n<li>Child care\/nannying<\/li>\n<li>Have other tasks in mind? Ask us!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Who are the candidates?<\/p>\n<p>The candidates for these roles typically have another part-time position and are seeking to supplement their income. They are placed and\/or screened Nanny Managers (in some cases Housekeepers) who have experience keeping households running smoothly.<\/p>\n<p>How many hours would I need to commit to offering?<\/p>\n<p>The positions are 12-25 hours\/week performed during business hours (Monday &#8211; Friday 7:00am-6:00pm). The schedules that we have found the greatest success in staffing are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2-3 full days (7-8 hours each)<\/li>\n<li>Mornings (8:00am-12\/1:00pm)<\/li>\n<li>Mid-Day (9\/10:00am-2:00pm)<\/li>\n<li>Flexible schedules (open to when the work is done)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>TIP: If you are open to multiple options, you have more chances for success!<\/p>\n<p>What is the cost and how many hours would I need to guarantee?<\/p>\n<p>The pay range for these positions is $30-35\/hr. The hours would need to be guaranteed and you would also reimburse for any mileage (current IRS rate) while driving on the job.<\/p>\n<p>These placements are only going to be offered through the end of 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The placement fee is 15% of the annual salary for a long-term (one-year) commitment, and 30% of the salary for a short-term placement (at least 4 weeks) with a $500 minimum.<\/p>\n<p>Jessica is ready to activate your search!
