Full-Time Housekeeper in Evanston
- 10 days of vacation per year, 3-5 sick days
- 8 Paid holidays (if they fall on a workday): New year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day

Family in Evanston is seeking a detail-oriented, flexible, and proactive Housekeeper for their home. Candidate will take care of all daily maintenance (dishes, laundry, sweeping / vacuuming floors, bathrooms, making beds, dinner clean-up, etc.), deep cleaning of the home, organizing, and maintaining an inventory of household supplies. Housekeeper will also help with errands and grocery shopping. Two days/week, Housekeeper will also assist with weekly food prep including kids’ lunches, washing and chopping vegetables and fruits, making and freezing raw hamburgers, making pancake mix, brownie batter mix, etc. They will also do occasional projects such as reorganizing closets, cleaning the grill, etc. The ideal candidate will be energetic, have superb cleaning and organizing skills, be independent, consistent, and experienced with food prep. Candidate must enjoy children (there are four children ages 8-18) and be comfortable with dogs (small non-shedding dog that is mostly outdoors). Housekeeper must be up-to-date with the Covid vaccine. Both adults work full time, one part-time from home.
NOTE: Candidates must be following all procedures advised by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) for Coronavirus exposure prevention outside of their work hours (masks, hand washing, limiting contact/group sizes, social distancing, etc.). Initial interviews will be conducted virtually using Facetime, Zoom, etc.
