Full-Time Housekeeper in the Gold Coast

Family in the Gold Coast area is seeking a full-time Housekeeper for their home.
Duties include:

• Daily maintenance (making beds, cleaning kitchen, counters, sweeping, laundry including ironing and putting away, vacuuming, bathrooms, emptying trashes, changing linens, etc.)
• Deep cleaning of the home (refrigerator, oven, baseboards, dusting, mopping, windows, fans, etc.)
• Create a schedule for daily, weekly (e.g., change linens, clean guest room), bi-weekly (e.g., clean/wipe down refrigerator), monthly, quarterly, annual tasks, and keep a running list for one-off projects (e.g., outside windows, organizational projects, cleaning fans and chandeliers)
• Bring in mail/packages, assist with bringing in groceries and putting away
• Restock supplies and keep a list of items that are getting low
• Helping to prep for dinner (cutting/washing vegetables, etc)
• Watering plants
• Misc one-offs such as polishing shoes, emptying suitcases after travel, organizational projects

Housekeeper should be:

• Aware that the family uses non-toxic cleaning products (for their health and yours!); family would prefer that the housekeeper does not use strong perfumes or personal products
• Self-motivated/proactive – finding opportunities to help without having to be asked
• Health and hygienic-minded – both personally and professionally
• Dependable and reliable
• Trustworthy and honest
• Positive and good-natured
• Organized and detail-oriented
• A dog lover – the family has a 6-yr old Labrador retriever and is hoping to get a puppy next spring/summer

One employer works full time (3 days in the office, 2 days at home) and travels regularly. Four children are in college and come home sporadically / during the summer months and holidays.
