A Device Identifier is a number that is automatically assigned to your Device used to access the Services, and our computers identify your Device by its Device Identifier. Small graphic images or other web programming code called web beacons (also known as \u201c1\u00d71 GIFs\u201d or \u201cclear GIFs\u201d) may be included in our web and mobile pages and messages. The web beacons are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored in a user\u2019s computer hard drive, web beacons are embedded invisibly on Web pages and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. Web beacons or similar technologies help us better manage content on our Services by informing us what content is effective, count users of the Services, monitor how users navigate the Services, count how many e-mails that we send were actually opened or to count how many particular articles or links were actually viewed. An embedded script is programming code that is designed to collect information about your interactions with the Services, such as the links you click on. In those cases, we will apply this Privacy Policy to any Personal Information received, unless we have disclosed otherwise.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Families have the opportunity to provide reviews about the care services and caregivers they have used and Caregivers have the opportunity to provide reviews about families for whom they have provided care services (\u201cReviews\u201d). We store these Reviews so we can maintain and provide the highest quality care but do not share these reviews with other Users.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Information You Provide About A Third Party<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Families have the opportunity to provide reviews about Caregivers and the Care Services they have used and Caregivers have the opportunity to provide reviews about families. We store these Reviews but do not display them to other Users without permission.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Information Collected by Mobile Applications<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our Services include applications on your mobile, tablet computer or similar device (\u201cMobile Application\u201d). This uploaded, shared or transmitted content will also be subject to the privacy policy of the email, online community website, social media or other platform to which you upload, share or transmit the content.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>(2) HOW DO WE USE THE INFORMATION COLLECTED?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our primary goal in collecting your Personal information or Usage Information is to provide you with the best experience possible when using the Services.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Based upon the Personal Information you provide us when registering for an account, we will send you a text to verify your account. We will also communicate with you in response to your inquiries, to provide the services you request, and to manage your account. We will communicate with you by email, telephone, or text message, in accordance with your wishes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We will use your email address and\/or your phone number to send you account confirmations, notifications and booking status updates and reminders, to contact you on behalf of other users sending you messages, and to otherwise provide services to you in connection with the Services.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We also use your Personal Information for administrative purposes, such as addressing account and billing issues, troubleshooting Services issues, investigating abuse on the Services, responding to user inquiries and enforcing and applying our Terms of Service.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We use your information to closely monitor which features of the Services are used most, to allow you to view your booking history, and to determine which features we need to focus on improving, including usage patterns and geographic locations to determine where we should offer or focus services, features and\/or resources.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We use the information collected from our Mobile Applications so that we are able to serve you the correct app version depending on your device type, for troubleshooting and in some cases, marketing purposes. The credit card information a Family provides in their personal profile is not stored by us, but is stored and used by our third party credit card processors in order for them to process payment that the Family owes a third party caregiver or us for services received by the Family. Likewise, the bank account information a caregiver provides in their personal or business profile is not stored by us, but is stored and used by our third party credit card processors in order for them to process payment to the third party caregiver or us from the third party family for services rendered by the caregiver.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We use your Internet Protocol (IP) address to help diagnose problems with our computer server, and to administer our web site(s). Your IP address is used to help identify you, but contains no personal information about you.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We will send you strictly service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our Services are temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send you an email. Generally, you may not opt-out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature. This information does not identify individual users.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Service Providers<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We share your Personal Information with companies that perform services for us, such as providing and supporting the operation of the Mobile Application, analyzing customer data, providing marketing assistance, processing credit card payments, or 3rd Party Verification and Background Check service providers. They have access to Personal Information as needed to perform their functions, but may not disclose your Personal Information for other purposes.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Business Changes<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We may share your information with any parent company, subsidiary, joint ventures or other companies under a common control that we may have now or in the future, in which case, we will require them to honor this Privacy Policy. In such circumstances, we will notify users using the promotional code of the information that will be shared and the party to whom it will be shared.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Information Available to Other Users<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Certain information about you may be accessible to other Users depending on how you use the Services.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Information Available to Other Users<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you are a Caregiver:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Families with whom you have a booking are able to see your name (only your first name and last initial are displayed), profile picture, city and state, bio, and qualifications.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We can see from whom you get bookings, your full name, phone number, email address, profile picture, address, bio, qualifications and preferences, and reviews left by a family on a service you provided.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A caregiver\u2019s phone number is only disclosed to a family and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">vice<\/span><\/i> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">versa<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for confirmed bookings.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you are a Family:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We can see your name, profile picture, phone number, email address, full address, basic bio, detailed bio information (emergency contacts, bedtime routines, etc.), number of children, and qualifications needed.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Caregivers who are requested on your behalf are able to see your name, brief bio, profile picture, number of children, qualifications needed, and booking address.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Caregivers who have a confirmed booking to provide you a care service can also see your phone number and detailed bio information such as emergency contacts and bedtime routines, during the confirmed or active booking.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>(4) HOW CAN I UPDATE AND CORRECT INFORMATION OR CANCEL MY ACCOUNT?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you need to change your Personal Information, you may update or correct this information by logging into your account and editing your profile within your account.
