Positions vary a great deal, and some possible duties may include: <\/p>\n
Oversee hiring, training, & payroll <\/p>\n
Providing hands-on services <\/p>\n
Arranging external vendors & contractors <\/p>\n
Managing a household budget & offering finance support <\/p>\n
Keeping supplies stocked <\/p>\n
Making travel arrangements and preparations <\/p>\n
Maintaining care of employer\u2019s valuables <\/p>\n
Planning & coordinating special events <\/p>\n
Running personal errands for the employer & household <\/p>\n
Receiving guests & answering phones <\/p>\n
Assisting in proper table setting (must be familiar with formal service) <\/p>\n
Light housekeeping duties <\/p>\n
Security planning <\/p>\n
Administrative support <\/p>\n
Technology support (Smart home technology, etc.) <\/p>\n

Compensation <\/p>\n
A DFW Household Manager typically is paid $80,000-$100,000\/yr* and Estate Managers are $100,000-$130,000\/yr*+ benefits (+ employer portion of payroll taxes). <\/p>\n
Search Fee <\/p>\n
To begin the search, there is a fee of $300. <\/p>\n
Placement Fee <\/p>\n
When you hire, a referral fee of 20% of the candidate\u2019s gross annual compensation will be due. <\/p>\n
*Total Annual Gross Compensation is based on 52 weeks in a year.<\/em><\/p>\n Each Household or Estate Manager completes a rigorous screening process.\u00a0Fewer than 10% of applicants are accepted. The process includes: <\/p>\n Detailed application\u00a0 <\/p>\n Verified household manager or estate manager experience <\/p>\n In-depth screening interview <\/p>\n Reference checks\u00a0 <\/p>\n Comprehensive criminal background check\u00a0 <\/p>\n Sex offender registry search <\/p>\n Work eligibility verification (U.S.)\u00a0 <\/p>\n Motor vehicle record check <\/p>\n Education verification\u00a0 <\/p>\n Social media screening <\/p>\n Agency Training: Domestic Excellence <\/p>\n Also available per long-term client\u2019s request:\u00a0Credit check or 5-panel drug\/health screening ($225)<\/em><\/p>\n Consultation <\/p>\n Schedule a call<\/span><\/a>\u00a0to discuss your specific needs or\u00a0complete a short profile<\/span><\/a>\u00a0to get more information. <\/p>\n Starting a Search <\/p>\n We will create a job description, collect the client agreement and search fee, and begin the search. <\/p>\n Interviews <\/p>\n We will begin submitting (or recruiting) skilled, pre-screened candidates to interview. We recommend bringing one or two of the nannies back for \u201ctrial time\u201d to observe them in action as part of a working interview. <\/p>\n Hiring <\/p>\n After you have found your perfect match, we will draft an employment agreement to create your offer, detailing the specific duties, compensation, and terms of employment.
