Every single person on our internal team is either a parent or a former nanny. This isn’t a coincidence. It is an intentional choice that shapes how we show up for families and candidates every day.

We live and work right here in the Austin and Houston communities, so we also know the local landscape, from the different neighborhoods to the needs of families.
Our team’s history even overlaps in some pretty special ways, and we have the longevity to back it up:
- Jessica and Kimberly: On our client team, Jessica has been with us for 20 years. She has raised four children, but she started her journey as a Mom’s Best Friend sitter herself before she had kids. In a full circle moment, Kimberly (who has been with us for 13 years and is pregnant with her second child) actually used to babysit Jessica’s kids.
- Melanie and Elena: Our nanny screening and support team is just as deeply rooted. Both Melanie and Elena have been with us for 3 years and spent their previous years as professional nannies. They know what it takes to provide excellent care and the joy of a child reaching their milestones. Plus, Elena is currently preparing for a new chapter of her own with a baby on the way.
- Even our Social Media Manager, Grace, serves as a sitter for our event care, and she was raised with Mom’s Best Friend Nannies (her mom is the founder AND a client).
