Family in North Center is seeking a kind, caring and organized Nanny Manager to provide proactive childcare and household support. The day will start by caring for their infant boy, and prepping their 10-year old girl for school (school is not currently in session due to Coronavirus, but typically will include assisting her with bathing, guide in dressing, help with breakfast, packing lunch and snack). She has special needs, but is higher functioning with many skills (knowledge or exposure to special needs care is a plus). Nanny should be experienced and confident in all aspects of infant/baby care, and have knowledge of age-appropriate, enriching activities that will encourage the baby’s growth and development. Candidate will be able to multi-task, have a positive, energetic attitude, be patient, and love and engage with both children. Mom will be in and out of the house but does not plan to interrupt the Nanny’s daily routine. Household duties include laundry, keeping the home tidy (dishwasher, counters, etc.), breakfast and lunch preparation for the children, errands, driving to after-school activities (should have reliable car and excellent driving record), maintaining inventory of supplies, grocery ordering, and assisting mom with dinner prep (cooking skills are a bonus!), Nanny must be detail-oriented and have excellent time management. Active family in Burr Ridge is seeking a hard working, detail-oriented, experienced Housekeeper, with a positive, caring heart for children. Daily duties will include maintenance of the home (cleaning kitchen, dishes, making beds, tidying, cleaning floors, bathrooms, laundry, etc.). The housekeeper will also take care of deep cleaning, changing linens, organization, and maintain an inventory of necessary housekeeping supplies. Duties will also include errands such as the grocery store, and possibly driving children, in the candidate’s vehicle (must have a reliable vehicle and an excellent driving record). Candidate will assist with meal prep (chopping, and other basic help), but preference will be given for cooking skills (kids and family eat gluten-free, and mostly dairy and sugar-free). The children are typically in school, and the majority of the childcare responsibilities are with Mom, but candidate will serve as an extra hand helping them when needed. Carrollton family (75010) is seeking a Part Time Nanny Manager/Mother’s Helper to partner in care for their 3 children (4 year old girl, 3 year old girl and a 1 year old girl). Mom stays home and is seeking a great partner who is caring, flexible, reliable, engaging, enthusiastic, thoughtful, positive and preferably experienced in working with children with special needs (middle child has high functioning autism). Family in The Loop is seeking a proactive, high energy Nanny Manager for their family. Nanny will arrive and prepare older child for school (make/pack lunch), assist in preparing breakfast for the children. When the older child leaves for school, Nanny will engage the younger child in age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities (such as arts/crafts, learning activities, excursions), in order to promote his growth and development. Family would like for the nanny to prepare the weekly activity list in advance. Nanny will also prepare lunch for the child and put them down for an hour nap. During downtime and nap, nanny will keep the kitchen/kids’ areas tidy, fold clothes, and load/empty the dishwasher. Candidate must be experienced, confident and knowledgeable in all areas of baby care, and will engage the child in activities that promote growth and development. Mom is also very engaged in the care of the child, so when not caring for the baby, Family Assistant will tag team with her to proactively complete other household duties to assist the family. This may include tidying baby’s room, doing baby laundry, food prep for the child, organizing, shopping, errands, and light housekeeping (load dishes/empty dishwasher, wipe down counters, sweep kitchen, etc.). The desire and ability to cook is a plus, but not required. The family employs a housekeeper for deep cleaning. Family Assistant must be flexible and interested in flexing some mornings to occasionally work a bit later for date nights. Client in Lake Forest is seeking an ultra-organized, creative and smart Personal Assistant. Duties will include event planning (majority), household inventory management, social calendar management, attending to VIP guests (7 houses on the property), and non-profit (conservation-focused) foundation assistance. PA will need to stay on top of reservations (theater, concerts, other bookings), shop as directed, coordinate vendors (plumber, electrician, etc.), and manage maintenance schedule with various companies for large estate. There are two dogs and five cats on the property, so the candidate should be very comfortable around animals (ideally an animal lover), as a pet sitting may need may occur several times per year.
In regards to events, candidate will need to be confident and capable of designing and conceptualizing creative ideas (in collaboration with employer and second assistant), for a variety of entertainment including parties, talks/symposiums, etc. They will also need to execute from beginning to end – from making preparations, to working with catering staff, to managing the event on site. This will require a proactive, tech savvy, efficient, deadline-driven project manager, and resourceful problem solver. PA must be autonomous – setting reminders, and keeping track of all details without letting any items slide.

Nanny must be confident and experienced in all aspects of infant/baby care, with knowledge of age-appropriate, enriching activities, that will encourage growth and development such as reading/storytime, sensory play, yoga/exercise, arts/crafts (eventually), music and dancing, and educational activities. Family lives in area where museums, beach, zoo, park, etc. are all walkable and intends for the Nanny to take advantage of this. Nanny will be nurturing and creative, and will follow a structure. Training and education in child development or a related field is a plus, as is a second language. Family is looking for a long-term fit.
Nanny will prepare meals for baby (preference will be given to nannies who are open to cooking for the whole family), and will do laundry for the entire family.
