Short-Term Nanny / Educator in Bee Cave
Benefits: 2 vacation days and 1 sick day (will increase if position extends)
Family in Bee Cave is seeking a dependable, engaging and creative short-term Nanny/Educator for their three children. Position will initially last through the end of the fall semester and could extend if they do not go back to school due to COVID concerns. Candidate will establish a daily routine including meals, academic activities (distance learning, homework), art/music, and indoor/outdoor exercise and free play (very minimal screen time aside from learning). The candidate will monitor the children’s academic progress and behavior/emotional development. and act as a communication liaison between teachers, children and parents. The family is specifically interested in hiring a Nanny that is proficient in high school math to help their older boys with math. The ideal candidate will be steady and consistent, while remaining flexible to meet the needs of the children, trustworthy, innovative, and fun! This is a difficult time for children, and the candidate should create a solid structure, demonstrate a great work ethic, and have a positive, upbeat attitude. Dad is temporarily working from home due to COVID, and Mom is a stay-at-home mom. The family has a large, older indoor dog (Labrador Retriever), but the candidate will not be responsible for any pet care.
All candidates must be adhering to all procedures advised by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) for Coronavirus exposure prevention including social distancing, masks, hand washing, etc. Employee will openly communicate any health risks, and family will commit to do the same. Initial interviews will be conducted virtually using Facetime, Zoom, etc.
