Family in Lincoln Park is seeking a nurturing, professional, and safety-minded Nanny for their son. Nanny must be highly experienced and/or educated, confident, and capable in all areas of baby and toddler care, including feeding, dressing, changing, supervising naps, etc. Nanny will follow a structured routine, and will complete a daily log. Candidate will engage the child in indoor and outdoor activities and play that will encourage growth and development, including age-appropriate educational and creative activities, reading, walks (COVID/weather permitting), etc. (no screen time). Nanny will also transport child to planned activities as necessary (and as COVID safety permits), and will clean up after themselves and keep child and common areas tidy (including washing bottles, etc.). Family would appreciate text updates and photos during the day. Nanny should be extremely safety and hygiene-focused (parents must be notified immediately in case of emergency), and family has strict COVID requirements as one parent is particularly high risk (see full job description for additional details). The ideal candidate will be articulate, communicative, warm/loving, reliable, proactive, organized, and calm. The family is looking for a long-term candidate. Both parents work from home, and will return to an office post-COVID. Daily parking is available for a nanny. If interested and qualified, MBF will provide you with extended job description.
NOTE: Candidates must be following all procedures advised by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) for Coronavirus exposure prevention outside of their work hours (masks, hand washing, limiting contact/group sizes, social distancing, etc.). Initial interviews will be conducted virtually using Facetime, Zoom, etc.
