Full-Time Nanny Manager in South Central Austin

Family in south-central Austin (off south Congress) is seeking a warm, hard-working Nanny Manager for their toddler and baby. Nanny must be confident and experienced in all aspects of baby/toddler care, with knowledge of age-appropriate, enriching activities, that will encourage growth and development. Nanny will also transport toddler to/from school (excellent driving records is required), and eventually will take baby to classes and activities. Household assistance will include tidying, cleaning up common areas (counters, dishes, etc.), organizing, running errands, and any duties required as an extension of Mom (family employs a housekeeper for deep cleaning). Candidate must be friendly, reliable, and have a can-do attitude, willing to help out wherever needed. Candidate must be up to date on their Tdap and flu vaccines. Family is seeking a long-term fit.
The family has a very large, but calm, indoor dog (Bernese Mountain Dog), and the nanny would be responsible for letting him out in the backyard 1-2/day, refilling water/food bowl as necessary, and – only in case of emergency – transporting to vet/animal hospital. Both parents work full time, and Mom works a week on and a week off. On the weeks Mom works, she works remotely at various sites and the hours will often be longer. On the weeks Mom is off, she will be in and out of the home and still requires Nanny assistance.
NOTE: Candidates must be following all procedures advised by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) for Coronavirus exposure prevention outside of their work hours (masks, hand washing, limiting contact/group sizes, social distancing, etc.). Initial interviews will be conducted virtually using Facetime, Zoom, etc.
