Full-Time Nanny in South Central Austin
- 20 days of vacation per year: 10 days at the nanny’s request and 10 at the family’s request
- 3-5 days of sick time
- 9 Paid holidays: New year’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day
Family in south-central Austin is seeking an energetic and creative nanny for their growing family. Nanny must be confident, capable, and experienced in all areas of infant, baby and toddler care including feeding, diapering, putting down for nap time, etc. (child is on a schedule). The ideal candidate will engage the little ones in indoor and outdoor activities that encourage growth and development, such as assisting with mobility and speech, inspiring curiosity by carrying him around to look at things, dancing to music, going on walks, etc. In addition to childcare, Nanny will assist with household management duties such as tidying children’s play area and nursery, cleaning bottles, child’s laundry, light meal prep (cooking is a big bonus). The ideal candidate will be mature, be seeking a long-term position (as family grows), and demonstrate integrity, curiosity, and confidence. Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required. Communication, trust, and transparency are qualities that are valued by the family. There is a small dog in the home (3-year-old, 12lb Maltipoo) that the nanny will let in/out on occasion. During a normal year, Nanny will be asked to travel with the family for 2 weeks or less, out of the year. Mom works from home, and Dad works primarily from outside office (with just one other person) and occasionally from home.
