Family in Woodland Heights is seeking an efficient, proactive Housekeeper for their home. Daily maintenance duties will include tidying, making beds, laundry, cleaning kitchen, dishes, counters, dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, bathrooms, etc. Housekeeper will also organize (refrigerator, pantry, closets, etc.), maintain inventory, grocery shop, assist with car maintenance/cleaning and other household errands. Housekeeper will meal prep and cook family dinners with guidance and recipes provided. Family also employs a deep cleaning housekeeper on Fridays so this role is more maintenance throughout the week. Mom does not work outside of the home and is hoping to hire a full-time Housekeeper that will take the weekly household maintenance off of her plate so that she can spend more quality time with her family. Family has a toddler (born 10/2019) and due with baby #2 this summer. Ideal Housekeeper will be able to regularly care for the little ones 1-2 hours a day while Mom runs an errand or has an appointment (anticipating 10 hours of childcare and 20 hours housekeeping for the first 6 months). Toddler has some health concerns that family will train on to ensure Housekeeper is comfortable. Starting in January 2022, both children will be in full-time daycare and the childcare responsiblities will decrease significantly, outside of sick days and school holidays. Housekeeper will need to be reliable, flexible, have a quiet demeanor, looking for a long-term fit, and have a positive, can-do attitude. Family prefers natural products be used when possible and they keep a very minimalistic home. Family has an indoor cat and dog that will require some basic pet care – feeding, keeping water bowl full, litter box maintenance, occasional walks. Ability to travel with the family to Colorado a couple of times a year for 1-2 weeks at a time is requested, but is optional. Candidate must be up-to-date with CPR Certification and all vaccines including TDAP, Flu and Covid.
NOTE: Candidates must be following all procedures advised by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) for Coronavirus exposure prevention outside of their work hours (masks, hand washing, limiting contact/group sizes, social distancing, etc.). Initial interviews will be conducted virtually using Facetime, Zoom, etc.
