That’s why we ask ourselves one simple question before every placement, “Would I trust this person to care for my own family?” If the answer isn’t an enthusiastic yes, they won’t be caring for yours either. Each match is made with intention, love, and the highest level of professionalism, because your family deserves nothing less.
Since 1994, Mom’s Best Friend has been matching selective clientele with exceptional nannies and babysitters. Our agency selects only experienced candidates, all of whom must pass an extensive screening process. Fewer than 10% of all applicants are selected to be sent out to DFW families. As local business owners, we take great pride in our roots and connection to the Dallas community. Jim, a retired Naval Commander, and I are passionate about providing the most reliable and highest quality childcare possible. We believe deeply in the importance of building strong, lasting relationships with both our employees and clients.
As a small business, we bring a personal touch to everything we do, ensuring that our services are always delivered with heart and care. We strive to make a positive impact on every family or organization we serve, fostering a sense of trust and connection.
Meet Lindsay Rose
As a mother to two boys, I intimately understand the paramount importance of entrusting your family’s care to the right person. My commitment as president lies in prioritizing and advancing the quality of care available to families, recognizing the pivotal role caregivers play in shaping the well-being of our little ones.
Drawing from my own experience of being blessed with a devoted MBF nanny who became an integral part of our family for five years, I aspire to extend that same sense of support and connection to every family. I actively work every day to create an environment where caregiving is not only valued but celebrated. Through comprehensive policies, my aim is to establish a supportive and nurturing framework that addresses your unique needs, contributing to the overall well-being of your family.

- Association of Premier Nanny Agencies: A Household Staffing Alliance: For many years, Mom’s Best Friend has been both a member and an active participant in the Association of Premier Nanny Agencies. In order to become a member, APNA’s process required verification of operating practices, review of our client application, and adherence to the APNA Code of Ethics and the Standards of Ethical Practices. Two of our owners are board members, and we often contribute further as frequent APNA conference speakers.
- International Nanny Association: Mom’s Best Friend is a long-time member of this non-profit, educational association. INA has worked to professionalize the industry by setting high standards for industry professionals and nanny agencies. INA leverages the expertise of industry professionals from around the globe to help increase awareness about the industry, to develop the professional skills of nannies, and to educate parents about the benefits of hiring a qualified nanny to care for their children.
